Sixteen Ounces - Victoria Park, WA

This weekend we visited the very popular Sixteen Ounces in Victoria Park.
After finding street parking, we popped into the cafe to find not much seating available. We chatted outside for a few minutes before luckily a table became vacant.
This quirky cafe had a very relaxed atmosphere and was the kinda of place you could catch up with friends chatting for hours on end, letting the world pass by outside.
The service was okay but the drinks and food arrived at the table quickly.

Classic benedict with brioche bun, house-made bacon, greens, poached eggs and house-made hollandaise sauce
 $18.00
The deliciously crispy bacon combined with the melt in your mouth brioche bun was perfect. The eggs were perfectly cooked. #Eggporn
The whole dish filled a very hungry stomach easily!

Baked potato hash with rich spicy tomato sauce, smokey chorizo, runny egg and toast.
$16.50
This meal brought the heat! Not for the faint hearted.
The spicy of the crispy chorizo with the rich tomato sauce was so good!
The egg was a bit buried under everything and the potatoes were still a little under-cooked.
But overall it was a fulfilling meal.

Cold Pressed Green Apple Juice.
$5.70
This juice was to die for! I have never tasted a apple juice that has been so close to actually eating the apple right there and then. it was crisp, icy and brilliantly refreshing especially on such a hot day.
I wish there was more in each serving. Had to order two!

Cafe 2 TwentyFour - Belmont WA

On Saturday we visited Cafe 2 TwentyFour in Belmont.
This Cafe only opened on the 28th of October and is already so incredibly popular!
We were greeted with warm smiles when ordering even though it was crazy busy behind the counter and were kindly warned that there would be a delay with the food which we didn't mind.
There was so many dishes to choose from, it made it hard to pick just one!
Our Super-shakes arrived quickly and we were so busy chatting and enjoy the atmosphere that the wait for the food wasn't that bad.

When the food did arrive....
My god it was worth the wait!

Nutella Waffles - home made waffles drizzled in nutella and sprinkled with crushed hazelnut then garnished with fresh strawberries and vanilla icecream.
This was so naughty and deliciously sweet. The crunch of the waffles was perfection!

Chorizo Stack - Chorizo stacked on ciabatta toast, piled high with tomato, baby spinach, two poached eggs, seasoned with onion relish and danish feta.
The chorizo was cooked perfectly. The caramelised onions a pleasant sweet surprised and complimented the saltiness of the chorizo well. Eggs were slightly overcooked.

To the left we have the Snickers Super Shake and to the right we have the
Honeycomb Super-Shake.
Both prepared beautifully, ice cold and so scrumptious!
Omnomnomnom. Diabetes in a cup.
Indulgent and decadent match for a perfect brunch.

Definitely recommend to get in early if your not the type of person that can wait very long for food.
For just opening a couple of weeks ago, this cafe is doing all the right things!
Do yourself a favour and drop in for some awesome breakfast and kind service!
